Good Day,,,Imagers... Have you ever tried doing the technique known as " AFN " Art From Nothing ???? Have you ever tried doing it EXTREME STYLE as in " X-AFN " Extreme Art From Nothing ???? That is what we are going to be doing here. This is alot of fun so DO NOT GET FRUSTRATED!!! Once you get a few "under your belt", I guarantee, you will love it. The basic idea is to go to your favorite Image Magick studio with NOTHING AT ALL Make a background before entering **SUGGESTION: PLASMA OR GRADIENT WORKS VERY WELL (this is especially effective with the relatively new Effect "DISTORT") and exit with an Extreme Image that is unique and all your own. If you do not know how to make a background from scratch, check out THE WORLD GALLERY TUTORIAL LIBRARY (TO MAKE A BLACK OR ANY COLOR SOLID USE "XC" BEFORE ENTERING I.M.) THEORY: This is supposed to abandon all sense of LOGIC and ORDER as you know it to be. STAY AWAY FROM: --Symmetry --Balance --Harmony --Matching Sides, Patterns and Shapes SUGGESTIONS: --Switch on and off from different functions, especially F/X effects, with TRANSFORM Effects. --Make your background, output it, save it, go back and start over, using your saved URL as a Compositing Agent in your worksteps --Don't forget to use Functions/Effects such as DECORATE/COMPOSITE, TINT,NEGATE CHANNEL,PAINT in order to bring more colors into your image if need be. --Before you finish up using Decorate/Annotate, try using Tranform/Roll, Crop, Splice or Rotate Now, doesn't this sound like fun? Hey, get back here!!! LOL Just start pushing buttons, keeping in mind what I suggested above and you will be in for some surprises. ***If you have trouble drop into the Newsgroup (Information Below) and I will be more than glad to help you. This first one is an AWESOME image "Apple For The Teacher" :-) Can you see Balance and Symmetry? The image leans more towards an example of regular " AFN " JEAN Here are " X-AFN " examples.
